While we at JFE, along with our family-owned Snowfox operations, know we can’t take any new venture for granted, Snowfox’s January Sam’s Club opening proves that sometimes in business everything falls into place. With first week sushi sales of $16,000, our Orlando, Florida, location represents two key goals in our 2016 strategy.
First, we wanted to use our past experience with Costco along with a mature menu to diversify our grocery segment with a new, committed warehouse partner. Our Sam’s Club medium format meets our shared vision without being too large to manage effectively. And the second box that Sam’s enabled us to check off on our strategy was continuing to move into new states. Florida is our 21st!
